TEACHERS’ REASON TO ENGAGE STUDENTS IN LEARNING DESCRIPTIVE TEXT THROUGH ONLINE

ABSTRACTOnline learning is that takes place over the Internet. It uses electronic media (usually a computer) for variety of purposes to access materials and interact with teacher other students. Furthermore, students’ engagement in online very important because learners seem have fewer opportunities be engaged institution. Hence, it essential create multiple student environment. The objective this study elaborate reasons engaging students learn descriptive text through learning. This was conducted at grade VII Junior High School A qualitative research design applied data gathered from sentences during when interviewed. followed theory Kuh (2009) about result showed there were two online; they were: 1) contributes students' better understanding 2) needed cognitive development.
